The Lost Gentlemen
The other day I made a discovery. I
never thought that they could exist in such abundance, that they were more like
the ever-rare Sasquatch. Rumor spread of their existence but there seems to be
no evidence of them actually existing until now!
The
Gentlemen, a man who will hold the door open for anyone and not just for the
pretty girl. He is that guy who is willing to admit that he is not afraid of
commitment. Someone that is willing to take on responsibility and realize what
a good thing he has. That he will fight for that girl that has stolen his
heart, and will do his best to make sure she is happy.
A Gentleman
is also someone who would never let a lady walk home alone late at night. He
will offer his company to ensure that this girl he just meet gets home safely,
thank-you my dear gentlemen. He can also be that friend you can always rely on,
that someone that will always care about you no matter how much of a nut case
you may be (thank you my wonderful friend). He may even be that husband/father
type that treats his family like they are the most precious things in the
entire world.
Who ever these gentlemen may be I am glad I
was able to discover them to prove that this myth is in fact a truth. We may as
girls always complain and say how there are no good men left in the world, that
we have no one to really rely on. We need to double check our selves and
appreciate the good ones that are out there. The ever-lost gentlemen who gets
lost in the world of beef heads and the party boys and will always be over
looked.
I want to
thank you for being the gentlemen, in the world where he is considered just a
myth. To show that I have discovered that you do exist and I fully appreciate
everything that you are and what you stand for. Thank you for proving to me
that all men are not just a big bunch of Neanderthal boneheads, that you can be
kind and true. THANK YOU!
